These are simply put official translations of documents. They include a written statement confirming that they are truthful and accurate. The statement includes the name and contact details of the translator along with the authorisation number as well as the date and the signature.
There are some main elements of a Certified Translation.
1. The source document
This is the original content in the original language. It may be some official document such as a birth certificate.
2. The translation
The translation has to include every single element present in the source, it should include all stamps, dates, seals and signatures. Nothing should be omitted or summarised.
3. The statement
It is the formal declaration of accuracy and it may go like this „I hereby certify that this is a true and accurate translation of the original document”.
It should include also the date of translation, the full name of the translator, their contact details and professional credential (the last one is optional however recommended).
